Greggs, a familiar feature on just about every UK high streets for over 75 years, has been on a bit of a journey in recent years. It's gone from a bakery associated with cheap, white bread sandwiches and suspect sausage rolls to something more palatable for today's tastes. Their healthy eating Balanced Choice range, for instance, offers a choice of wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups, porridge, fruit, yoghurt and drinks, all with less than 400 calories. Still maintaining those all-important affordable prices, Greggs is a go-to for millions of hungry Londoners in need of a quick on-the-go sarnie fix.
