The best little deli on Chepstow Road, Haminados specialises in Greek and Mediteranean food, served by Joseph, the store's owner and chef who creates the culinary magic. The food has a homemade appeal and ranges from veggie burgers through to moussaka with fresh salad to egg florentina on spinach and rice. You can take away but opt to eat in and you'll experience the friendly atmosphere with everyone dining around the same well scrubbed wooden table. Take the paper and stay a while over coffee, or enjoy a slice of pizza in the clean and bright shop, surrounded by jars of brightly coloured pickles.
