Jermyn Street shirtmaker Hawes & Curtis sells good quality shirts, suits and accessories from this store in the Shard Arcade located between London Bridge underground station and the main entrances to The Shard and The News Building. Hawes & Curtis was established in 1913 by tailors Ralph Hawes and George Frederick Curtis and has most famously been worn by the Duke of Windsor and Lord Mountbatten. It was bought in 2002 for £1 by Touker Suleyman, who rescued the business and transformed it into a £30 million success story and a by-word for smart city shirts.
