inwater is a contemporary florist's with a capital C but, really, capital letters are so passé along with ribbons and bows and traditional bunches of flowers. Instead, inwater's website makes a cool splashing sound when you click on the links. It’s on the cutting edge of floral design, styling events attended by lots of models and those paid for by very rich companies. The displays are striking and ambitious with names like ‘Burlesque’, ‘Ice orchid slab’ and ‘Geisha’; taking flowers and submerging, suspending and spiralling them into eye-catching pieces of art. So, if you’re after something a bit more out-there and you don’t mind blowing the budget, inwater’s gift bouquets are guaranteed to impress. The flowers really will look lavish and theatrical on any mantelpiece.
