Do your Christmas shopping and raise money for charity at the same time. The Jungle Bells pop up shop is hosted by the organisers of the Elephant Family conservation and will aim to raise funds for the organisation. With brightly coloured painted elephants, tigers and crocodiles the pop up shop will give customers the rare chance to incorporate some exotic feelings into the bitter British Christmas. For those who are feeling a bit creative, the toys are also available to purchase in blank condition creating the chance to be decorated how you desire; a unique stocking filler for all ages. All proceeds from these purchases will go towards the Elephant Family's conservation work to help endangered wildlife in Asia. The charity have worked on projects including support for local communities to reduce human-elephant conflict, improving the conditions of captive elephants and creating corridors of land to enable elephants to move safely between traditional grazing lands. The pop-up shop is held temporarily in a shop on Broadwick Street and will be there until 8th January 2012.
