Visitor Information
On Saturday mornings, from 9am to 2pm, Arch 104 on Druid Street is home to KaseSwiss, who sell a great selection of Swiss cheeses, and who share the premises with Topolski Polish cured meats and pickles and Jacob's Ladder Farms. The advantage of visiting this warehouse space is that you get taste the produce and find out about its origin by talking to staff who are passionate about their produce. Stop at KaseSwiss to buy traditional Swiss cheeses like gruyere and raclette, as well as specialist cheeses Sbrinz (a very hard cheese produced in central Switzerland, often used instead of Parmesan) and St Galler Berghof - a tangy cheese with a strong aroma, made from organic milk. It's worth dedicating a whole Saturday morning to exploring the area around Maltby Street and Druid Street, close to Borough Market, which becomes a foodies' paradise one day a week, with small scale and specialist food producers opening up their warehouses to members of the public.
