Situated in the heart of Primrose Hill, La Petite Poissonnerie is one of those hidden little gems. Owner, chef Nic Rasecle, has teamed up with Japanese chef Yasau Yamaji to bring a combination of the Far East and Europe to North London. Rases in sustaincle specializeable fish and tries to offer alternatives to the usual choices of salmon and tuna. The produce changes daily but is always fresh. Cooking advice is also available - the shop runs private or group classes on request. It may be a little out of the way but it's worth it. La Petite Poissonnerie has a range of fresh produce, daily arrivals and a quirky boat in the middle of the shop floor.
