This East Dulwich branch of Moxon's fishmongers in Lordship Lane is a friendly shop stocking ethically sourced fish and is regarded as one of the best suppliers of fish in London. The wide range of fresh fish on offer includes sardines, mackerel, plaice fillets, line-caught bass, hand-picked crab, brill and turbot. If you're shopping for soles look out for less fashionable megrim soles and witch soles which taste every bit as good as the pricier lemon and Dover soles. Can't face cooking? Don't worry, you can always buy ready made fishcakes created especially for Moxon's by Franklins, the restaurant next door. In addition to this Dulwich branch Moxon's operates fish shops at Clapham and South Kensington.
