Museum 52 started out as co-director Chris Taylor's home. Taylor runs the gallery with partner Matthew Dipple who completed an MA at the Courtauld and has worked at Sotheby's and with Sam Taylor-Wood. Between them they have good art credentials and Museum 52 is fast becoming one of the most exciting young galleries in London. It's easy to find in the heart of London's East End on Redchurch Street, thanks to its innovative artist-designed sign: an on-going, rotating project. Taylor and Dipple's only rule for exhibiting art is that they both have to like it. The success of the gallery just goes to show both directors have impeccable taste. They're especially interested in artists who can do anything within the medium they specialize in so you can expect to see and listen to works by sound artists like Stephen Vitiello and American artist Valerie Hegarty.Museum 52 images
