Flour sourced from 20 specialist French producers goes into the baguette, rye, sourdough and buckwheat breads made at the in-house bakery at Oree , a boulangerie on Fulham Road with bread and patisseries laid out on a clean white marble slab counter. Antique mirrors, 24 carat gold leaf lettering, whitewashed timber floor and Carrara marble tabletops at the 32-seat cafe make this a beautiful place to eat in. On the menu from head chef, Sebastien Charrier, and head bakery chef, Olivier Malebrera, are all kinds of bread and patisserie from escargot aux pistaches to canneles, financiers, croissants and kugelhofs as well as British scones, served with coffee from Climpson & Sons and tea from Parisian merchant Kusmi. But if you are looking for something altogether healthier then choose egg white omelettes for breakfast and salads for lunch.
