One of a handful of galleries in the capital dedicated to sculpture, Pangolin is the London presence of the Pangolin organisation which includes Pangolin Editions, one of the largest foundries in Europe. The organisation also runs the Ruwenzori Sculpture Foundation whose charitable works include the building of an arts centre in Uganda. Gallery Director Polly Bielecka oversees a rotating exhibition programme focusing on modern British and contemporary sculpture which begins with 'Rock Music Rock Art' an exhibition of works by Peter Randall-Page inspired by the ancient 'rock gongs' of remote Lolui Island in Lake Victoria, Uganda. Sculptures can be seen both within the gallery and throughout the main public spaces of Kings Place a Kings Cross development designed by Dixon Jones. The gallery also runs an artist in residence programme which includes the use of a sculpture studio at Kings Place and contributions to the Kings Place outreach programme, sculptor Abigail Fallis is the first to take up the artist in residence position.
