The first in London to realise the retail potential of shipping containers, Pop Brixton is a wonderful community project, a place where fashion boutiques rub shoulders with startups and pop-ups, and homeware stores are housed alongside yoga workshops. It even has a barbershop. Every Thursday and Saturday you can sign up for free gardening workshops at Pop Farm, a green place where people can learn how to grow food and flowers, brush up on their gardening skills and or find out how to start a career in horticulture. Home to 55 independent businesses, Pop Brixton has everything from a Japanese style street food ramen bar to a retro-inspired vintage fashion boutique as well as event spaces - Pop Box, The Dining Room and The Greenhouse - to hire.
