SHOP172 is typical of the fashionable vintage shops, boutiques, book stores and cafes that make Brick Lane and the area surrounding it great fun to browse around. Clothes are largely one-offs designed by rising fashion stars like Yuko Yashitake and RCA MA graduate Maaike Mekking. Hip street clothes are often splashed with cutting edge graphic designs which lend themselves perfectly to the Brick Lane brand of urban cool.
