Schwartz Gallery re-opened on 8th August 2008 with 'Shift - Reflections in Time and Place' as part of the first Hackney Wicked Arts Festival. Located in Hackney Wick, the Schwartz is one of a number of galleries and artists studios in the area taking advantage of the less-than-desirable location next to the Olympics building site. Still, this hasn't put these people off showcasing contemporary art from new artists working across all fine art disciplines. The large warehouse space lends itself perfectly to modern sculpture and installations.Schwartz Gallery images
