Even though it's right next to Seven Sisters Tube, you could easily walk past the covered Seven Sisters Market if you didn't know it was there. Hidden away behind a row of shops, the white double doors are the only indication from the outside that it's there. But on entering through those doors you'll find it's the Latin corner of South London. All things South American are available from the fifty or so stalls selling a huge variety of things from beauty products and canned or dried food stuffs to one stall solely selling cheese and sausages. It's a lively jumble filled with music and families, mainly of Columbian descent but there are also stall holders from Peru, Ecuador and Brazil making it a social centre for Latin people. A few cafes dotted about serve Columbian food and, if you want to stay up for a few days, try the coffee. A real gem that's certainly worth hunting down. Sadly this is another old market that's under threat with the developers encroaching. To find our more go to www.wardscorner.wikispaces.com or sign up at www.gopetition.co.uk/online/14551.html
