A welcome export from the civilised city of Bath, this shop stocks plenty of little trinkets and a wealth of clothes that appeal to older ladies. Shoon has a really exotic feel to it. Red walls, fascinating travel books and Antique African ornaments emanate a wildly glamorous feel. They have some technical outdoorsy gear and a great range of very casual clothes. Their womenswear collection includes loose, heavy linen, boiled-wool pieces, chunky knits, cotton separates and delicate wrap cardigans. Stylish, comfortable and nothing too trendy or young – it's a welcome name on the high street.
