It’s a brand that is most famous for expensive novelty cufflinks, and accessories are still a major part of the business in Simon Carter's Covent Garden flagship. Leather goods, watches and ties line up next to a large case of those cheeky ‘links. Formalwear takes up the rest of this space in this smart store, with well-cut traditional suits, jackets, shirts and jumpers. The jokiness of the cufflinks often extends to the clothes, with oddball linings proving a neat counterpoint to the sleek styles. This is wacky dressing at its finest, with no compromises made on the tailoring, and a real eye for fashion trends. The shop has a similar appearance, with simple cream panels and a wooden floor offset by the presence of a scooter, and some rather unfortunate fauvist nudes on the walls.Simon Carter images
