Unveiled in autumn 2010, the plush St Martin's Courtyard shopping enclave has given retail in the Covent Garden area a huge boost. Independent labels, flagship stores, international brands and boutique shops line up next to each other in an open space bordered by Long Acre, Upper St Martin's Lane and Mercer Street. Shops include Banana Republic, Jaeger, Twenty8Twelve (Sienna and Savannah Miller's flagship store), a massive three-storey Jack Wills, country clothing expert Joules, organic beauty store Melvita and florists The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers. The centre-piece is a spacious open courtyard with some greenary and scope for al fresco summer dining. Eating and drinking options include Jamie's Italian, Indian cuisine at Dishoom (London's first Bombay café) and Mexican food at Cantina Laredo. There's also the excellent café/deli combo Bill's, spa and massage specialist Relax and the Crazy Bear Members' Club (famed for its coconut mojitos).
