The Storey's don't run this antiquarian bookshop any longer but owner Tim Kingswood has chosen to keep the original name of the shop, first established in 1929 by Harold T. Storey. Harold's son Norman sold the business to Ted Kingswood in 1984 but the Storey name remains. Specialising in antiquarian engraved prints and maps Storey's has a strong selection of military and naval prints particularly relating to Lord Nelson and Napoleon Buonaparte. Among the large stock of eighteenth and nineteenth century engravings, divided across two floors, are natural history prints including engravings by Curtis and Paxton.
