This small but delightful specialist food store in Hammersmith makes a welcome break from the chain shops on the main King Street nearby. It may cost a little more but here the food is freshly prepared and hand made. Hard to believe that this compact space contains over 100 cheeses as well as hams, meats and olives from around Europe. There are plenty of lunchtime options with salads, soups, and freshly baked breads used to make the sandwiches. Tea and freshly ground coffee is perfectly topped off with biscuits, chocolates and several choices of cake - the carrot cake is our favourite. Opposite the tube station for the Hammersmith & City line, Sundrica is well place for passing trade, but even if you're not passing it's well worth making a detour.
