"Big labels for less" oh yes, you can say that again. One big bargain basement jumble sale, TK Maxx is the savvy shoppers' haven. The store is dedicated to discount clothes - his and hers - as well as homewares. After hours spent trawling through rails of rubbish you'll get your reward - finding the designer gem in the rough. Well known high street labels include French Connection and Diesel and there's a good sportswear section. You'll even find higher end fashions with designer items like Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen. Prices are slashed by as much as fifty per cent off the recommended retail price so, even if you leave feeling slightly frazzled, you'll walk away with a sense of victory too.
