Specialising in children's books and selling books for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, Tales On Moon Lane is a dreamy sounding bookshop. As well as all the classics, such as Narnia and Beatrix Potter, they sell books by contemporary authors, JK Rowling and Philip Pullman just two of the well known among them. Every half term they run teachers' reading groups and frequently host book fairs and author visits to schools as well as the Moon Lane Children's Literature Festival. Singing, stories and music are all combined in torytelling sessions for pre-school children (£5 a session for 45 minute sessions on Tuesdays at 10am, term time only). They also have a second branch in North London at Primrose Hill, next to Regent's Park. Kids will love the variety of reading material on offer here.
