You'll avoid frayed tempers as well as split ends by taking your children to have their hair cut at Tantrum. This brightly coloured hair dressers has been specially kitted out for kids, from the building blocks to the Noddy style motor car they can sit to get their barnet cropped. The ground-floor, Moon, is intended for children younger kids (under 7 years old), while the basement, Vogue, caters for 8 to 14 year olds. The areas have been decorated so they look quite different - the ceiling over Moon, for example, is a night sky scene. Downstairs, the Vogue décor is much more sophisticated and glamourous. There's a juice bar area, a games room for the boys and a chill-out space for the girls. On both levels each styling station comes with a flat screen TV and DVD player. They also stock natural hair products; sweet and fruity-scented shampoos and soaps as well as a chemical-free lice-prevention shampoo.
