Hands-on interactive flagship store for Apple products.
Even if you don't have an iPod fetish, you'll be familiar with the wonderfully sleek lines of almost all of Apple's products. There’s no better way to admire, test and buy these delectable diamonds of technology and design than in this glamorous store on Regent Street. More an interactive gallery-come-museum than a shop, this commercial store looks and feels beautiful; a strong “touch, test and try” policy means that visitors can appreciate the elegance of each product’s performance and usability as well its smooth and stylish appearance. For those with questions or queries, there's a unique “genius bar” - a kind of drop-in-clinic, staffed by Apple techies who will help you sort any problems you might have. For the techno-curious / borderline-geek, the 64-seater theatre offers the chance to learn all about new products and techniques.Workshops and events are alos peppered throughout the store. If you're an Apple addict or just like beautiful gadgets, this is the place to get your next fix.
Best for:
...iPods and Macs, gadgets and gizmos, design and technology, hands-on testing.
