- Visitor Information
Sister shop to 'The Grocer on Elgin', this store on the Kings Road is - like the original Notting Hill branch - a very posh deli. You're unlikely to find anyone popping in here for a box of PG Tips and a bag of flour. Instead, it sells smart sandwiches and pattiserie to busy Chelsea locals. It also offers some excellent chef's cheats (freshly made ratatouille and marinades you can pass off as your own work), and some good soups. Best of all are their breads - heavy, rich and freshly made in their own bakery. Prices are high, but pretty reasonable for food of this quality, with soups and sandwiches around the £4 mark. A great labour-saving deli for busy Londoners and the health concious local mums.
