Actress Sienna Miller has teamed up with sister (and fashion graduate of Central St Martins) Savannah to create Twenty8Twelve by s. miller. The name comes from Sienna's birth date (28 December), the clothes are wearable and chic - and not a boho layered skirt in sight. The 'Dickensian' description their PR publicity has attached to the first season's collection doesn't really sum it up either. Although you may find a poem or some musings written on the lining of your jacket, there the similarity ends. There are so many actresses who try to add another string to their bow and turn out a clothing line - with varying degrees of success - but this is one that actually works. It's obvious that Savannah, with her credible qualifications and experience working at Alexander McQueen, is a talented designer. With their only stand-alone shop in Notting Hill it's refreshing to see that the girls have wisely stayed away from the boho look that Sienna made so popular when she first became paparazzi fodder. Instead what you get is some really rather good fashion wear.
