When Captain Frederick James Warr founded Europe’s oldest Harley-Davidson dealership on the Kings Road in 1924, the flagship model was the ‘Silent Grey Fellow’ which retailed at a paltry £85.
These days a bike will set you back a fair bit more but this is still where to buy one. There’s a massive selection to suit everyone from first-time buyer to nerdy leather-clad enthusiast.
Warr’s are proud of their 12-strong team of factory-standard trained technicians who can provide the complete service for your much-loved bike. They are regularly sent on training courses to keep their expertise up-to-the-minute.
The dealership itself is quite special too – completed in 2000, the new building won a commendation for design excellence from Hammersmith and Fulham council. Behind the curved glass frontage of the oval plan structure, lie row after row of glittering metal steeds.
And, if you’ve ever fancied powering down the highway astride 700 pounds of hot throbbing metal, now’s your chance – a selection of Harleys are available for hire from £70 per day.
