Bill Amberg is a maker of quality leather goods who has long had a small store in Notting Hill as well as a workshop at Portobello Junction, but has just opened a new flagship outlet on Chepstow Corner.
His range of classic leather goods should go down well with the ladies and gents of this upmarket corner of West London. We couldn't suppress a smile when we found that his latest collection includes a whole range of accessories for huntin', shootin' and fishin', those endangered aristocratic pursuits that are suddenly THE thing to do if you're a former trustafarian still living in trendy West London but now subscribing to The Spectator.
In any event, this is a fine new shop, and the bespoke bags and wallets are particularly swish, if a little steep for most casual browsers.
