Bonhams, a family-owned auction house, was founded in 1793. Its specialist knowledge extends to many disciplines, ranging from traditional fine art and antiques to new fields of collecting; from Meissen figurines to Elvis Presley’s sideburns! Some 10,000 lots fall under the auctioneer’s hammer each year. The company targets new areas of collecting, such as dogs in art, golfing memorabilia, marine pictures and fountain pens.
