The first American bookstore to hit the UK, Borders boasts 150,000 books, 3,000 magazines and masses of CDs, tapes and videos. Despite its size it gets very busy, but you can always rest up and read in the caf. Serious book shoppers are better off across the road at Foyles, but this is a great place to browse magazines, or pick up gifts.
