Camden's Buck Street Market is located a short walk from Camden Town tube station, on the right side of the road, diagonally across from Inverness Street Market. It gets its nickname, 'The Cages', from the metal grilles that make up the grid-like structure that gives this market of tightly packed stalls its uniform lay-out. The narrow lanes and multiple rows of slogan-ed T-shirts, summer dresses and trainers can make this an overwhelming and claustrophic experience. The best way to cope is to leave plenty of time for wandering in and out of the stalls and that way, when you get stuck behind someone and can't get passed, you won't feel like whacking them.
