The original Ginger Pig was first established in the late '90s with this butcher's shop for cooks at Borough
Market. Since then their farm has won the Observer's Producer of the Year Award (back in 2005) and the Ginger Pig is widely considered one of London's best butchers with branches in Marylebone
and Hackney
as well as this delightful butchers in Borough. Although they started out very much pork specialists, with a dozen cuts, as well as offal, sausages, and charcuterie dominating the shop and their stall in Borough Market. They've extended their range considerably now, and lamb, beef and poultry are all available to discerning shoppers. Pies, scotch eggs, and pates are also provided, all made entirely from ingredients produced on their own Yorkshire estates.
