Maybe it's the central location, or perhaps the irresistibly creamy, chilled 'Cookies and Cream' combination but the Haagen-Dazs ice cream shop on Leicester Square is perennial popularity. Even on the coldest, darkest winter's afternoon the queues at this cafe, here since 14th April 1990, are out the door. With LondonTown.com headquarters overlooking the ice cream shop it is tempting to pop in for a 'Pralines and Cream' iced treat every time we pass the door. The expanding effects on the waistband prevent us (often the queues are off-putting if you're in a rush too). But the Cookie Crunch and Chocoholic flavours are among the best if you have a sweet tooth.COMPETITION: Following an extensive refurbishment, the celebrated Haagen-Dazs shop in Leicester Square is back and is offering ice cream lovers in London an even more intimate & cosy experience. To celebrate the relaunch of the shop, LondonTown has partnered with Haagen-Dazs to give one lucky reader and four friends the chance to win the ultimate Haagen-Dazs treat, which includes one delectable menu creation and one hot drink (excluding cocktails) each! To stand a chance of winning simply send an email to competitions@londontown.com with "Haagen-Dazs" in the subject header by midday on Monday 11th April. Please include your full address and phone number. The first name out of the hat wins - good luck!
