The brainchild of design guru Terence Conran, Habitat began a revolution in how we furnished our homes when it first opened its doors back in the 60s. Since then a lot of furniture has been down the aisles, Ikea has come, conquered, and bought up Habitat. Nevertheless, for those looking not just for a bargain, but for furniture of a higher quality, the original is still the best.
