Refined perfumery mixing the classic with the contemporary.
If smells and scents are your thing, then family-run Les Senteurs is worth sniffing out. Originally opened to offer an alternative to the bog standard perfumes available in most department stores, this aromatic attraction will please even the most picky (and picked) of nostrils. From contemporary collections to classic brands and old, long-forgotten gems produced by historic French and Italian perfume houses, there is a scent for every occasion. Experts in their field, the best thing about this place is the customer service. By all means take your time and experiment with the different perfumes on offer, but do ask them for their advice and help if you’re even the slightest bit unsure about what to buy and why. You can even take samples away for a measly £2 each if you can't make your mind up in the shop. Skin care products, facials, room sprays and candles are also included in their portfolio, while the ever-prestigious Caron products can be topped up using the store’s unique crystal scent fountain.
Best for:
Top-of-the-range scents and smells, Caron and Coudray, perfumes historique.
