A Soho institution this wonderful cafe serves some of the best pastries in the city and a tempting array of cakes, coffees and other yummy things. There are Valeries all over London these days but this is the original and while the standard is consistently high throughout the chain, there's something about the formica tables, 1950s decor and Toulouse-Latrec cartoons in the downstairs dining area that raises it above the rest.
The cafe expanded upstairs in 1999 and offers a speciality cake service for weddings and other special occasions.
