Billions of blue blistering barnacles, they've only gone and opened up a Tintin Shop in Covent Garden, dedicated entirely to Herge's bequiffed reporter and his faithful terrier Snowy. Launched back in 1984 as a simple outlet for the addictive Tintin adventure comic books, alongside cards, posters and plastic figures, the Floral Street store has expanded as quick as Captain Haddock's waistline and now is a hotspot for all things Tintin related. Posters, crockery, watches, DVDs, CDs and models are all available, whilst there is also a selection of T-shirts, bags and limited edition books on the shelves. Even people as indecisive as Thomson and Thompson should be able to find something to their liking in a shop that has fast become a veritable shrine for die-hard fans.
