WAWA came about when, in 1998, Richard Ward extended his furniture workshop to include rugs by Lucy Wassell. Now you'll find a whole range of funky interior designs including lampshades and fabrics as well as handbags and Matt Fothergill leather goods. All Richard Ward's sofa designs are handmade to order and come in a range of contemporary styles and finishes. Fabric samples can be taken or posted to you and the showroom, just off Columbia Road and a few doors down from Stoned and Plastered, is well worth a visit when the flower market is on (Sundays until 2.30pm only) and the surrounding streets are buzzing.
