Purple Dragon is a dream playground, kindergarten, day nursery and private members' for kids. Relocated from its original location in Battersea, the exclusive club occupies a larger 12,000 sq ft premises in Chelsea. The large space has room for a wide range of classes for kids of all ages, an excellent kid friendly restaurant - big enough to seat 100 - a pro golf simulator, an interactive floor, a dinosaur cave and a
customised Hornby train set with global landmarks. New to the Chelsea club is a swimming pool called Beach Bums which
includes a wet play zone and offers swimming
lessons, waterpolo, life saving sessions and scuba
diving lessons. There's even a spa for frazzled parents. If you don't feel like joining in with your little ones you can get pampered in the beauty pod where Pilates, Yoga and reflexology are laid on. Different levels of membership give your child access to a variety of classes, workshops and activities from music, art, drama and dance to languages and study groups. It pays to sign up for longer periods - and doing so gives you access to added extras. In summer, for example, in addition to the regular class they organise trips to popular children's attractions like the zoo and the Natural History Museum. Age groups are divided into 'Hatchlings' (babies to 3 year olds), 'Growlers' (4 to 7 years) and 'Fire breather' (8 to 12). Whether learning how to cook in the kid's kitchen, playing on the touch screen Macs or making music in the recording studio your kids will be kept thoroughly entertained.
