Potters Fields Park occupies a prime spot between City Hall (from where the Mayor runs London) and Tower Bridge. The pedestrianised, grassy area on the south bank of the Thames hosts a variety of events and activities from the annual Thames Festival in September to seasonal Christmas fairs. It's also frequently pictured in the press, being used by the Mayor for photo ops promoting his latest scheme. A major refurbishment completed in 2007 to a design by landscape architects Gross Max has made it a more pleasant place to stroll and admire the view.Potters Fields Park images
