When contemporary art gallery the Supplement Gallery first started in 2008 it began life with a series of six solo exhibitions. The artist-led project space then took part in The Wharf Road Project which brought 20 such art initiatives together. The group exhibition 'The Difference Between Here and Here' meant that artists like Dave Green, Steve Bishop, Sarah Hughes, Jack Vickridge, Rob Lye, Thorbjorn Andersen, Luke McCreadie and Richard Sides were showcased in the group show. Not content to remain within the confines of the Bethnal Green gallery space, Richard Sides - more used to making sculpture and 2D work - went on to star in a live performance at Cafe OTO in Dalston, presented by the Supplement Gallery. There are approximately six solo exhibitions at the gallery each year accompanied by discussions and events.Supplement Gallery events
