- Visitor Information
Spending a penny is already an old fashioned expression with most bog standard public conveniences costing 20p or more per pee. While most public loos we know are a health hazard where you have to watch what you touch, the WC1 is far more superior way to go – as long as you're prepared to pay £5 for the privilege. The steep entry fee means there's no need to take a deep breath before you enter and hope it will last until you get out. Instead, the air is scented with fresh flowers and spacious cubicles are sterilised then hygenically sealed making for a much more enjoyable experience. These luxury loos - described as an 'urban sanctuary' - will actually make you want to stay awhile. As we all know, the real reason that girls like to go to the loo in groups is for a good gossip. The Powder Room is designed with this in mind, offering comfy seats and large mirrors where girls can catch up in comfort. It's also the ideal place to stop off when you want to go out and need a change of clothes and make-up fix but you haven't got time to go home first. Or, you could try the loos in Selfridges opposite - for free.Location map of WC1
