Barnes Bridge Railway Station in Zone 3 is in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, on the Hounslow Loop Line south west of London Waterloo. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South West Trains and there are four trains per hour in both directions. Two trains per hour go to Weybridge and two go to Waterloo via Brentford and Richmond. Crossing Barnes Bridge, accessible to trains and pedestrians, brings you to the south bank of the River Thames, with pleasant walks along the Thames Path towards Hammersmith or Mortlake. About five minutes' walk to the east is Barnes High Street where independent shops, cafes and galleries lead to a duck pond and village green.
