Embankment Pier is a busy hub for river boats with 'hop-on, hop-off' circular cruises operating from here and riverbus services running to Tower Bridge, Greenwich, The O2, and Woolwich Arsenal. It's also a busy hub for entertainment and nightlife with plenty of bar and restaurant boats moored here. The pier also serves as a pick-up or drop-off point for many of the party boats which mainly run on weekends - the location means its handy for catching the tube home afterwards, just hop on at Embankment Tube station.
