If you're going to an event or concert at The O2 by boat, the North Greenwich Pier (formerly the QEII Pier) is the place to disembark. They also run an express service when a big event is on. This service begins three hours prior to the event's start time with boats leaving from Waterloo Pier every 30 minutes, on the hour and half past. The last departure is 30 minutes before the event starts. After the event, the first boat departs from QEII Pier 15 minutes after the event ends with a half hourly service after that.
