Richmond Pier is owned by the Thames Boat company also known as the Westminster Passenger Service Association (Upriver) or WPSA (Upriver) Ltd who run a scheduled service from Westminster via Kew and Richmond to Hampton Court (and return) to the main pier adjacent to Hampton Court Palace. Richmond Pier is the closest riverside pier for exploring the pretty West London Richmond area with its historic deer park. Just across the river from the pier, which can be traversed using the nearby Richmond Bridge, lies Twickenham and its famous rugby grounds.
