There is no better way to commute to work or see London's fantastic attractions along the River Thames than by boat. Thames Clippers is one of the larger river boat operaters with high-speed catamarans calling at London's major piers at regular timetabled intervals. Traveling along London's liquid highway at high speed is a far more civilised - and less sticky - alternative to the Tube. They even have a licensed bar so you can a cold beer or glass of wine as you cruise down the Thames. With a River Roamer you can hop on and off as many times as you want along the banks of the Thames to visit Tate Britain, the Tower of London, down to Royal Arsenal Woolwich in the east via the following piers: Westminster, Waterloo (for the London Eye), Embankment, Blackfriars, Bankside, London Bridge, Tower Pier, St Katharine's (for Tower Bridge), Canary Wharf, Hilton Docklands (Rotherhithe), Greenland, Masthouse, Greenwich, QEII (for The O2 - formerly the Millenium Dome).Thames Clippers images
