This petite dental practice set in the heart of Highgate Village offers a good value private dental service. Local resident Vatch Kassardjian set up the practice in summer 2006 having previously practiced in the West End. With free parking, 24-emergency appointments and the same time turnaround for those in a hurry, it's handy for locals and visitors alike.
Past the charming Victorian houses of picturesque Pond Square and through the blue facade of the ground floor location; patients are greeted with a friendly smile and a refreshing drink in the diminutive waiting room. Smooth wooden floors and stylish furniture give the place the sterile but calming air you'd expect from a dentist’s surgery. State-of-the-art German-made equipment fills the treatment room – their x-ray machines only give off one 30th of the usual radiation dose.
The practice specialises in veneers, crowns, bridges, prosthetics, implants, root canal treatments, teeth whitening and Invisalign orthodontics, as well as all your everyday teeth needs.
What we liked best was the straight-talking dentistry; they take the time to talk you through your x-rays and the reasons behind treatments. A good explanation can go a long way to helping you maintain a healthy set of teeth. Not to mention the little touches - a copy of Ruyard Kipling's Complete Verse to flick through in reception and a video screen showing the Blue Planet whilst you are examined helped us to relax before out turn in the chair.
