Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital is best known as a maternity hospital, offering fetal care and the largest neonatal intensive care unit in the country. It has a labour ward with two fully equipped operating theatres adjacent to high-dependency care facilities. Situated next to Wormwood Scrubs, just a few hundred metres away is the more generalised Hammersmith Hospital.
