Famous for his twice Michelin starred restaurant at the St Enodoc Hotel in Rock, Cornwall, Nathan Outlaw comes to the capital with Outlaw's Seafood & Grill at The Capital Hotel London which is more akin to the more casual of his two Cornwall restaurants. Although remaining primarily based in Cornwall, Nathan will spend time at The Capital every week talking through the menus with head chef Pete Biggs who he has worked with over the past 10 years. The menu at Outlaw's in The Capital Hotel focuses on simply prepared, ecologically sound, sustainable seafood caught chiefly around Cornwall but also elsewhere in the UK. Expect starters of Cornish crab on toast cooked with curry, fennel and apple, or poached duck egg and mushrooms on toasted thyme bread. Main courses, depending on what the boats bring in, may be grilled Dover sole on the bone with parsley, lemon and garlic dressing, or roasted cod fillet served with warm tartare sauce, or - if you want to go for gold - whole Cornish lobster in an orange and rosemary butter. For a more affordable option, go for lunch Tuesdays to Fridays when the set menu won't set you back so much. For food of this quality, with Michelin star quality behind it, it's really very affordable.
